Day-to-day expectations

- Own the product vision and roadmap for Semantic Search, Natural Language Querying, and agentic search experiences across the Datadog platform.
- Define how user intent is captured, classified, and routed to the correct data sources, tools, or workflows.
- Partner closely with Applied Science and Engineering to design and ship intent models, semantic retrieval systems, ranking strategies, and i terative search behaviors that can invoke tools and refine results.
- Drive improvements in query interpretation, disambiguation, relevance, and recall for AI-powered search, NLQ experiences, including those used within agent-driven workflows.
- Establish success metrics for intent accuracy, query execution rate, result relevance, latency, and user trust.
- Serve as the point of accountability for semantic and agentic search across Datadog, aligning multiple product teams on shared intent, relevance, and quality standards.
